Walking Through the Process

Gather Required Documents

We combine your information, occurred expenses receipts, and our government datasets to submit a fully completed and digitally submitted application on your behalf. You can provide us with a fully completed and executed Power of Attorney - Proposition 312 form, which must be obtained from the Named Property Owner. We include the necessary property tax documentation and provide proof to demonstrate the amount of property taxes you paid for the previous tax year. You will just need add your proof of any expenses incurred, such as invoices, purchase orders, or receipts. Remember a contractor’s estimate alone, without proof of payment, will not suffice. If you have received any reimbursement amounts in previous years, please provide the total of those amounts. Lastly, include any documentation that shows or describes all communications between the Subject Jurisdiction and the Named Property Owner.

Identify Eligible Primary Property Taxes

Our tools identify the proper government entity where your Affected Real Property is situated and determine the specific county in which your property falls when it lies in a city or town that spans multiple county lines.

We use your Statement of Taxes Due or the Property Tax Statement to find the primary property tax levy for the city or town where your property is located. In some counties, if the property is not situated within a city or town, the primary tax levy may be listed for the county itself. We identify the amount of Eligible Primary Property Taxes which represents the maximum sum you can request for reimbursement. *NOTE: If your property is in a city or town that does not impose a primary property tax, please be aware that the maximum reimbursement you can receive will be $0.

Verify Your Payments

We confirm that your Eligible Primary Property Taxes have been paid. Our team will review the tax records on your behalf to ensure that all payments are up to date. If it turns out that the full amount has not been paid, we will assist you in determining the reimbursement amount based on what has been settled.

Furthermore, we will obtain the necessary proof of payment, such as a payment receipt from the county treasurer, and ensure that this documentation is included with your application for a seamless submission process. Let us handle the details so you can focus on what matters most.

Submit the Application

We provide a thorough service to ensure that all required documents are complete and accurate before submission. Our team will meticulously review each document to confirm that everything is in order. Once we have verified the accuracy of your paperwork, we will assist you in submitting the application along with all necessary documentation, ensuring a smooth and efficient process. Important Considerations:

Our service includes important information regarding property tax reimbursement. It’s essential to note that not all cities or towns impose a primary property tax. The maximum reimbursement amount is limited to the Eligible Primary Property Taxes that have been paid to the Subject Jurisdiction, which refers to the city, town, or county that levied these eligible taxes.

Typically, the primary property tax is represented by a single line on your property tax statement. We provide specific instructions tailored to each county, so you can easily follow the guidelines that apply to your particular location. By adhering to these steps, you can effectively prepare a complete application for nuisance reimbursement. Let us guide you through the process to ensure everything is handled correctly.
